Leadership that
We know that the most important decisions leaders make in the history of their organisations aren’t about strategy or structure — but about who they trusted to lead their people.
Because they know that when the story of their organisation is told, it won’t be about what changed—but who made it possible. Across every sector, we see the same questions emerging — what kind of future are we building?
Human questions — complex, urgent, and deeply felt — and the answer begins with a unique kind of leadership that is not performative. It is leadership that listens, invites challenge and knows the real measure of influence is the culture it leaves behind; a steward for the next generation.
At Goldrick, we believe the right leader doesn’t just guide an organisation through change — they make that change possible. We partner with organisations at times of critical inflection, transition and times of growth that demand more than just competence — they demand character.
This is the kind of leader that doesn’t settle for short-term performance at the expense of long-term integrity. The kind that understands great leadership isn’t about having all the answers, but about asking the right questions.
This is the work we do.
Seeing the whole person — beyond their credentials — to unlock their potential with empathy, insight, and intelligence.
We find leaders who will challenge, expand, and carry your vision with clarity and care. People who see and understand the bigger picture.
Because when the right person steps in, what once felt out of reach becomes inevitable.
That’s the kind of leader you’ll find at Goldrick,
And that’s the kind of leader we’ll find for you.
Our values shape how we lead and how we work.

Managing Director
Alex Goldrick
With over two decades of executive search experience across APAC and Europe, Alex leads Goldrick’s assignments and advisory engagements with precision, care, and conviction. He has placed senior leaders across the energy, natural resources, infrastructure, and technology sectors, bringing a structured, evidence-based methodology to every engagement.
A graduate in Human Resource Management (BSc Hons), he combines analytical rigour with emotional intelligence, drawing on deep sector knowledge to deliver candidates others overlook.
Alongside executive search, Alex works closely with leadership teams on succession planning, internal talent development, and executive readiness, helping organisations align human-centred decisions with long-term strategy.
As Managing Director, he stewards the business with clarity and intent, grounded in a belief that people shape the future. Alex has earned a reputation for going further than most — not just finding great leaders, but helping organisations see what’s possible when the right person arrives.
He’s most at home in the grey areas — the messy, ambitious, uncertain briefs where nuance matters. He listens deeply, challenges gently, and builds trust fast. He’s human-first in his leadership, and you’ll often hear him ask not just what someone does, but why they do it — and who they want to become.
Alex approaches each assignment with deep empathy, building lasting relationships founded on trust and care.
Always seeking to understand not just what companies need but why, he unearths insights that others miss. He isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, pushing for candidates and solutions that break new ground in leadership.
Ultimately, Alex believes in transformation through people — not just placing talent, but unlocking potential with empathy, insight, and intelligence. He leads with vision, honesty, and the kind of optimism that sees possibility where others see risk. His leadership sets the tone for Goldrick — one that values clarity, courage, and connection in every decision and relationship.
Operations Lead
Otsile Kamona
Affectionately known to the team as Oats, Otsile brings a calm, grounded energy to Goldrick’s operations. He’s someone who sees what needs to happen before it’s asked — and gets it done with quiet efficiency and genuine care.
Originally from Botswana and now based in Perth, Oats has worked across finance, administration and project coordination — supporting senior leaders, managing systems, and building the kind of behind-the-scenes infrastructure that allows the front-facing work to shine. With a background in commerce and an MBA, he combines commercial awareness with a meticulous attention to detail.
Before joining Goldrick, Oats supported executive teams across financial services and nonprofits — navigating high-volume operations and fast-moving project environments with steadiness and focus. His professional grounding gives him the ability to manage complexity without ever making it feel complex.
At Goldrick, Oats is a linchpin in the day-to-day delivery of projects and internal operations. He oversees documentation, logistics, systems support and more — working closely with the team to keep everything aligned and moving forward. He’s quick to adapt, always looking for ways to streamline how things are done, and brings a warmth that helps the whole team feel supported.
He’s the kind of person who makes the whole thing feel possible — holding the space so others can do their best work.
Consultant
Tommaso Vallone
Tommaso is a Consultant with a strategist’s lens and a story that stretches across borders and generations. Raised in Milan and now calling Perth home, his journey has taken him through Europe, India and the UK — shaped by a deep connection to his Italian and Australian heritage, and informed by academic and lived experience in some of the world’s most diverse environments.
Holding a PhD in International Human Resources Management, a Masters degree in Management Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and lived experience across Europe, Asia and Australia, Tommaso brings thoughtfulness, cultural depth and a relentless determination to our team. His structured approach to problem-solving and an interest in complex engineering, operational and technological challenges means he can help uncover the leaders who will make the ultimate difference.
Tommaso approaches every engagement with the belief that leadership is about shaping the future. He focuses on alignment that goes deeper than experience alone, considering values, culture and the capacity for meaningful growth. His strength lies in helping organisations see beyond the obvious and grasp the bigger picture — uncovering leaders who not only fit, but elevate what’s possible.
Shaped by his upbringing in Milan, Tommaso brings a deeply human perspective to his work — one formed through everyday observation. He speaks of riding his bike through the city as a way of tuning into people, patterns and the space between them. This instinct — to notice, to listen, to understand — is central to how he sees leadership, and reflects a quiet respect for the different ways people work, lead and make decisions. He understands that empathy is a strategic skill.
At Goldrick, Tommaso helps clients make confident, strategic decisions. He brings insight and an empathic perspective to every assignment — supporting organisations to find not only the right leader for today, but the leader who belongs in the future they’re creating.
