Goldrick Consulting is pleased to acknowledge the appointment of Tony Davis as Chief Executive Officer of Austmine, commencing 1 April 2026.
Goldrick Consultant Tommaso Vallone who supported the appointment process, working closely with Austmine Chair Dr Dallas Wilkinson and the Board to define and appoint a leader to guide the organisation into its next phase of impact.
Austmine is the leading industry association representing Australia’s Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector, representing more than 800 member organisations across an industry that generates over $160 billion in annual revenue. The organisation plays a critical role in advancing mining innovation and strengthening Australia’s global competitiveness.
Tony Davis brings more than 30 years of senior executive leadership across government and global industry. Most recently, he served as Executive General Manager—The Americas at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), where he led the agency’s largest international region across North and Latin America.
His leadership experience spans government, mining-related industrial sectors, energy and advanced manufacturing. He has also held senior global leadership roles with Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Stewart & Stevenson, leading complex multi-country operations across mining, energy, marine and defence sectors and driving organisational transformation and performance improvement.
The appointment reflects Austmine’s continued commitment to strong and forward-looking leadership at a pivotal time for the Australian METS sector.
